I find the easiest technique of locating Tatar regions on old maps involves initially locating the Caspian and working my way upriver. (Everyone labels "
the Caspian" with the same term, from what I can see) Here it's labeled "
Mare Caspio".
The Italians have many foods that resemble Pilmeni. I have yet to see a regional food in Italy that is their version of Peremech.
