The annual Sabantuy Tatar summer festival is held on the last weekend in June, in Flood Park, in the City of Atherton, about 45 minutes South of San Francisco.
These last several years, musicians and singers come from Tatarstan to entertain the crowd. They typically perform for a while on the Saturday at the Sabantuy itself, and again at our community building (bina) in Burlingame.
This year our vocal guest was Liliyä Gimatdinova and on bayan was Rustem Rähmätullin.
