As we are on our hunt of Tatar and Tatar-related Turkic culture on our jaunt around North America, we had to look no further than the pocket of the seat in front of us - United Airlines.
Not only is their a full-page ad touting Turkish manufacturing, but also an article on the tallest flagpoles in the world today. A few of the tallest flagpoles are in Turkic Nations, each attempting to extend a bit further. Where is the super-tall one in Tatarstan? Soyembike!
