I'm not Crimean. I'm Mishar Tatar, but Crimean Tatars are close cousins.
They were subjected to brutal treatment by Stalin, who essentially took away their homeland. They still struggle to this day to re-stake their claim. Their homeland is along the North Shores of the Black Sea. Many Crimean Tatars live in exile in Modern Turkey.
